I maintain a mailing list to let fans know about new books and to update them about my ongoing projects. I also offer exclusive content to my mailing list, such as stories, out-takes, and drawings for free audio books. Email addresses on my list will never be shared or sold. Each email contains an unsubscribe link. It's easy to get off the list if you're no longer interested.

Likewise, if you purchase anything in my online store, your information is not shared with anyone. I need your name, email address, and mailing address to send your purchases, confirmations, and package tracking numbers. However, this information is not given to anyone else. I never see your credit card data, nor is any credit card data is stored on my website. This data is stored exclusively by the credit card processor you select when you check out with a purchase, such as Stripe or Paypal.

In addition to the mailing list and my online store, my website also tracks certain broad categories of data from you, such as your IP address and location. This is used to prevent malicious attacks on my site and to give me simple information, such as "How many people visited my website yesterday?" This kind of data is not used for marketing or to identify individual users. It is not sold or given to anyone else.
